I am often asked in what geographic regions do we accept work. The answer is easy. If you look at the attached map and can see the area you are requiring historical, heritage or archaeological advice for planning matters then we can help. We cover the whole of England and Wales but have a main area of work focus centred on southern England including Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Devon, Dorset, Wiltshire, Hampshire, Sussex (East and West), London (all Boroughs) and Kent. Heading a little further afield we have worked in South Wales (Glamorgan, Rhondda Cynon Taff, Brecon etc), Gloucestershire, Oxford, Cambridgeshire and the Midlands including Worcestershire, Shropshire and Herefordshire.
As I (Andrew Tizzard MCIfA) started as an archaeologist with the Museum of London in the 1970’s we have a wealth of experience undertaking projects in the urban deeply stratified environment. We have worked in many major urban areas, obviously including London, Winchester, Bristol, Exeter, Southampton, Salisbury, Gloucester, Cardiff, Swansea, Canterbury, Wells and Milton Keynes to name but a few.
We operate an eco-friendly business as much as possible and have recently invested in an electric commercial vehicle for use on local work when available.
